10. Awesome custom made R2-D2 PC case mod

Most lovable robot from Star Wars series, a R2-D2 ( Artoo or R2 for short) can be turned into a awesome PC mod case. This PC case mod is made for "Science Fiction Case Mod Contest" by Frenki Janse . Best part is budget for this was low and Frenkie spent only $120 in making this case. He said he got inspiration when he saw a R2-D2 Pepsi coolers on gas station , he was not amazed how were they made, so he decided to make a great PC case mod. R2-D2 PC don't make noises, and contains web cams, fan control and blue lighted feet. R2-D2 was played by actor Kenny Baker in 5 of the 6 Star Wars movies, (but he was credited with appearing in "Revenge of the Sith", even if he never filmed any scene of that movie) with many scenes recorded using mechanical and CGI techniques.

For all hardware "geeks" out there, these are components of this PC case : P4 3.2Ghz w/HT @ 3.71Ghz , 2GB (4 x 512MB) of DDR400, 120GB Hard drive, Radeon 9800XT 256MB, Creative 7.1 surround sound, Asetek Vapochill Phase Change cooling @ -38C.

Artist Jens Werner Andersen from Norway has painted his house in Burberry-pattern. He woke up one day and thought it was a fun idea. It is some weeks after halloween, but the orange pumpkin is still standing on the porch. The main vision for the house, when Jens bought it six years ago, was that there should be a gathering place for happy people, peace-on-earth-mentality and art loving people. Skulpture brate nevervoatno ovo ono

In a previous article you had the chance to see these ultra realistic sculptures of human beings. Now the artist Sam Jinks, who's been a commercial sculptor for 11 years and who spends his time creating hyper-realistic sculptures out of silicon, is returning with even more detailed work. You can stare for hours at the sculptures and they'll still look like they're real humans.

During a cultural festival in Catalunya, Spain an object shaped like an oversize 3-dimensional computer cursor was placed on a square in Figueres. The funny thing about the cursor was that people could touch it, sit on it and move it around. The cursor was also connected to an embedded GPS device that mapped the coordinates of the cursor into Google Maps as people moved it around so they could see how it was moving around the city. An other funny city phenomenon is "stikman", a robot figure spotted all over USA.
